Norwegian Saithe is not like any other fish. This silvery fish with a firm pearl grey meat is appreciated in traditional cuisine worldwide, and is one of our our main specie together with other whitefish like Cod and Haddock. The norwegian Saithe is a powerful swimmer, covering vast distances in search of food and spawning grounds. We catch the Saithe by seiner, gill net and line. The Saithe is primarily sold as fresh and dried . Saithe is caught year around, with main period in the beginning of the year and in the autumn.
